My Straight Hair Experiment

I had been longing for an off from my office, finally I got an off this Thursday. So I decided to pamper myself. I decided to straighten my hair and as I don't have a hair straightener at home . And thought for a crazy experiment with an iron . I washed my hair and conditioned them.I laid down my Head on the  iron board and tried to straighten my  hair with the iron.My hair are not that wavy and bouncy but it need to be straight from the tips.Straightening the hair actually changed my look. I just loved my new look.Though initially I was doubtful that I might end up burning my scalp but thankfully nothing happened.

If you are trying this out you have to be careful enough otherwise you will end up burning you hair and scalp also. And if you are using an iron then keep a check on temperature of iron ,it should not be too hot. This whacky experiment did work for me. But its risky.

This post is my entry for Sunsilk Straight hair experiment.

What was great for the fact that I actually found all these with Homeshop18. Buying books is a hobby and till recently, Flipkart was myshop for it. Homeshop18 has made me rethink, the best books at the best prices, much cheaper than all other online stores. Customers look for value in all respects and that is what you get with Homeshop18. Though the website should improve their women’s section but that is actually not what bothers me.

Few Things about homeshop18 that make is the best place to shop online:

·         Regular Fllow Ups via messages and Emails
·         Great Variety of products and instant delivery
·         Best prices available online

Homeshop18 should improve on the following:

·         More products ahould be added in the womens section and also the coemtics sections. There seems to be too less cosmetics.
If you are heading over to Homeshop18 after reading my review, I recommend you to check out the folliwng sections. These are sections where you will find great products in totally awesome prices.

LeMeridien introduced their avant garde cuisine at the Eau De Monsoon that serves classical indian to the food and lifestyle bloggers. They also showed their wine cellar with Sommelier Magandeep Singh

We were called for a lunch in a Private dinning room.
It was a degustation menu conceived by Chef Davinder Kumar. Chef Davinder Kumar said” Monsoon’s cuisine is intriguing. True and traditional in its roots, the dishes are prepared embracing an assortment of innovative ways. The rich dining experience is complimented by eau de Monsoon’s chic interiors.”

Pepsi T20- Change The Game

The capital was high on madness on the 17th june 2012. More than 5000+ people enjoyed the Pepsi T20 Football tournament held at the Thyagraja Stadium,INA,New delhi. I was one of the bloggers invited and it was an event that I just cannot forget. This was the first time; I was seeing a match at the stadium. Yes, I missed the IPL too. The Pepsi T20 Grand Finale was a must watch.

If you missed the show you really missed the mad fun that it was.

One of the many exciting factors that made the day super fun was the presence of the Indian cricket stars Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Harbhajan Singh, Suresh Raina and my favourite actor, Ranbir kapoor. Girls went mad when Ranbir Kapoor entered the field.

It was a game with new set of rules and format. There were 8 teams from different cities of India which had all come after different rounds that happened nationwide. There was also a wild card entry team to compete with these 8 teams. The winning team got the opportunity to be coached by Didier Drogba, The ace Striker of Ivory Coast before they faced Indian Cricket stars.

One of the most interesting part of the show was our host who was none other than Nikhil Chinnapa. He introduced all the 8 teams in his own fabulous way. As the name says “Change the game.” The game changed and it was a Football match in a cage.

There were hosts of contests during the tournament. The most interesting part of the event was the wonderful performances during the event. Sivamani rocked the show with his amazing performance. We witnessed an awesome jugalbandi of drums by Sivamani and Indian Ocean. The audience had fun and loved Sivamani’s performance the most.

Ranbir playing football.

Have a look at the Pepsi Change the game website if you missed the fun.
I would like to thank Akshita Jain from Blogathon India for inviting us.

Loving The Floral Way

It’s summer and it is all about colours all around!
For that trendy Party look this summer, go Floral.

Floral prints are always in trend in summers but this time they have made it big. Printed floral stoles, tunics and dresses are tempting for any body type. Miniature floral prints are blooming this season with neon colors, yellow, green, raspberry and tangerine.

Floral are one of the motifs which will be in season after season and this season “Its HOT”. One can get reasonable floral dresses from Sarojini Nagar, Lajpat Nagar, Janpath, GK Market. Brighten up your wardrobe with colourful blooming prints. Floral dresses can be paired with stoles and scarf for that ravishing look.

You can also go for cropped floral blazers as they add fun and bling to your otherwise chic look.

So next time when you go for shopping don’t forget the floral way and do share your view.

Impromptu again

Introspection ...
Indeed for perspection ...
I Feel a time for ...
Some internal inspection ...

To mean what ...
I am to the world ...
To know what ...
This world is to me ...

I stand confused ...
In a fix ...
People care ...
How well do i mix ...

Time changes some ...
Does an elevation bring a change ...
Why time changes buddies ...
And why does it always define a new range ...

Its Impromptu

Its impromptu with me making my writing public..
Off-late, I have been writing, poetry and articles of interest, though circulated within my friends and buddies... Soon to be persuaded by them to start blogging..
And here it comes..
Hope those who come, get a treat while reading, and their time stands utilized....
And surely, hope i do get a chance to thank those who introduced me to this...
