Here’s talking about a recent experience with my favorite cuisine Chinese. So, I happened to come back home after a hectic day that had many events. So, I was tired and hell and hungry. Yes, there was not too much of my preference at the event and I thought it was a great idea to come back home and dine at my ease. So, I got to Foodpanda and started searching of a new Chinese joint nearby to try. While I was still not settled n the cuisine, I saw “The Kitchen” on my Foodpanda mobile app. While I had seen the place everyday while passing through the marked, I had never really tried it. I believe, Today was the day!

I ordered my regular staple Chinese main course, Veg Manchurian, Veg Hakka Noodles, Veg Spring Roles, Chilly Potatoes and more. While it was just 3 of us sisters, I thought to have a bit of everything to try the new place. One reason more that I ordered from here was that it was just 5 minutes from my place and I knew that the delivery will be superfast.

As expected the delivery was fast and I got the food super hot. It was Indian style Chinese, spicy hot. We liked it as it was boring day and it added some spice to it. I am quite good to the concept as it makes things faster and hassle free. Next time, try mobile ordering yourself.

My Promotion Celebration

Recently, I am being promoted as the Centre Head and so everyone is in the mood to celebrate and party. I decided to throw a house party. I invited all my colleagues and friends and decided to cook something good. Since the guests were mostly from the office the look of the food and the presentation is a major concern to me. From tissue paper to serving dishes to plates everything has to perfect and in right position.

I decided to keep the menu simple. I didn’t opt for too many dishes. Because I realized by the end of the night, after all dancing, nobody will be in a mood to eat heavy food. So, I decided to make something interesting that included lots of chaats, wafers and tandoor items. For the health conscious freaks, I made some salads with different interesting dips.

My Menu for the celebration

I made quick but lip-smacking snacks. They included nachos chaat with a ready to serve dip. I served the nachos chaat in the borosil glassware quarter plates and they were looking amazing.

There were Potato fries and hara bhara kabab in borosil glassware quarter plates and I kept chips in two designer bowls of borosil. With so many other options there was fruit salad in a large borosil mixing bowl.

In mocktails, I served virgin mojito in borosil fern glasses. 

In the main course, there was vegetable biryani and dal makhni and shahi paneer. All the dishes were served in Borosil glassware.

I made a special chocolate cake for the Dessert. It is a very quick and easy recipe. It just requires 6 minutes and the cake is ready. I used large borosil glassware Microwavable to make the cake.

·  1 1/2 cup All Purpose flour / Maida

·  1 cup Whole Milk

·  1 cup Sugar

·  3 tbsp Cocoa powder

·  1/2 tsp Baking powder

·  1/4 tsp Baking Soda

·  1 tbsp Lemon juice

·  1/2 tsp Vanilla extract

·  3 tbsp Oil

I combined all the above ingredients and microwave it for 6 minutes. The yummy chocolate cake is ready. I decorated the cake with whipped cream and chocolate flakes.

We all are aware that water is our basic necessity without which we cannot survive. But Do We ever have a thought about the people who are not getting clean water for drinking? The basic necessity that they are deprived of. Do we ever feel the need of making the situation better or taking a initiative in helping the common man?

More than 3.4 million people die each year from water, sanitation, and hygiene-related causes. Nearly all deaths, 99 percent, occur in the developing world.

Lack of access to clean water and sanitation kills children at a rate equivalent of a jumbo jet crashing every four hours.

780 million people lack access to an improved water source; approximately one in nine people.

The water and sanitation] crisis claims more lives through disease than any war claims through guns.

Suprio Das, an electrical engineer realized the need of putting a step forward to find a solution to this problem. This multifold problem of creating a lost cost device which would provide a safe and clean drinking water to the masses had many challenging issues.

Various challenges that he had to face to make his innovation a success and to provide chlorinated water to the people in backward areas.

The speed of water is not same everywhere that point needs to be taken into account.
Almost no or very less electricity in most of the rural slum areas.
The size of containers that should be used to fill water, 
Accurate dose of chlorine.
No behavioral change in  water collection.
A machine with no moving parts so no repairing facilities.

My Road Trip

For me road trip is synonym to both fun and adventures on the road. Whether you're traveling with family or friends a road trip brings to you the beauty of nature. My idea behind the road trip is to explore the natural world around us.  

I will plan a road trip with my family. I trip to Mussoorie. Me and my family plan to go in Tavera. I will make all necessary arrangements to ensure a comfortable trip. Packings and last minute checkings are also a part of the trip which have a unique part until you leave for the trip.I also bought a ambipur car perfume to make the atmosphere pleasing. 

    

I would love to stop at each small junction and capture the beauty of nature.We would surely take three to four stoppages. Merrut,Dehradun will be our main stoppages.There are small picnic spots on the route that speaks out on their own. The road side dhabas and the lip smacking food is another thing I love about a road trip.

I am a foodie and for Munching I would definitely fill up my bags with chips,nachos,drinks and other packed snacks.

To add more fun to our journey we will play games like dumb charades,playing cards and sing songs. I will also carry music CD’s of my favorite songs.

Road trips are best where one can sharpen knowledge and visit places and know minute things. I would for this surely mark the map with the places I would like to visit and explore.

Heat and eat, this is the quickest and easiest way to prepare yummy dishes in minutes.

TRESemme Ramp Ready Hair

I love to experiment with my hair.Trying out different hair styles not only gives you different look but also make you look feel good. I often try making different kinds of braids but buns are always a problem. I tried many a times but felt that it is not that easy.

I came to know about the Tresemme India  youtube channel and watched their DIY videos.It was simply amazing and a easy tutorial for those who love to try different hairstyles.I watched almost all and tried two three different good looking yet simple Hair styles. Out of all the one that I liked the most is messy up do.

Messy up do is a very simple to make but elegant looking Hairstyle with minimum of Hair Accessories which are easily available. All you need is just a rubber band ,comb, Hair pins.
This Hair style is apt for those who have wavy hair  

I also tried  TRESemme climate control Shampoo and conditioner for frizz-prone hair. My hair were really smooth and shiny.

My Straight Hair Experiment

 I had been longing for an off from my office, finally I got an off this Thursday.So I decided to pamper myself. I decided to straighten my hair and as I don't have a hair straightener at home . And thought for a crazy experiment with an iron . I washed my hair and conditioned them.I laid down my Head on the  iron board and tried to straighten my  hair with the iron.My hair are not that wavy and bouncy but it need to be straight from the tips.Straightening the hair actually changed my look. I just loved my new look.Though initially I was doubtful that I might end up burning my scalp but thankfully nothing happened.

If you are trying this out you have to be careful enough otherwise you will end up burning you hair and scalp also. And if you are using an iron then keep a check on temperature of iron ,it should not be too hot.This whacky experiment did work for me. But its risky.
